SAP MM/PP ANALYST / APO/PP in Indianapolis, Indiana

AP analyst will be responsible for implementing SAP solutions including requirement gatherings, business blueprinting, design, configuration, testing & training in the areas of SAP MM, PP and APO in a multi-company environment. Leading the IT effort and working with the functional teams on implementing SAP demand planning.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assist with configuration of SAP system. In particular the implementation of the APO modules focusing on demand planning.
Identify system problems and determine necessary resolution.
Review business processes and recommend solutions for complex business activities.
Analyze suggested system configuration changes and customizations to help SAP team understand the potential impact to the system, users and organizational ROI.
Monitor progress of SAP projects and take corrective action as required to ensure that deadlines and business needs are met.
Work with SAP team to write business and technical specifications.
Prepare communications and provide updates to various levels of management throughout the organization i.e. reports, oral presentations, etc.
Requires regular attendance to perform essential element as contained herein between the assigned start and end times for work.
Performs such individual assignments as management may direct.
Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the department, the Corporation and the community; and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
BS degree in Business (production) or Information Technology
Experience/Knowledge
Minimum of (3) three years experience with materials management, production planning and APO modules of SAP
Must have at least 1 full life cycle implementation experience with PP or MM
TECHNICAL ROLE COMPETENCIES:
Unit and integration-level testing of changes in a three-tier SAP environment
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
High level estimation of project requirements
Proven ability to work in a self-directed environment.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well with individuals at all levels within the company
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Fluency in written and verbal English
Microsoft Office Software Suite operations.
Other Information
Must be able to travel 15-25% of the time
