My story
Meet Attica! Holly cow her personality is mind blowing! At 7 weeks, she was escaping a 4-ft puppy pen easily. Somehow naming her after a famous prison seemed like a good idea. Attica is about 7 months and is believed to be a Boston Terrier/Pug/Boxer maybe Pit mix? Honestly, every day I see in her another possible breed. Truly your guess is as good as ours. What we do know is she is a very good puppy. She is outgoing and happy. Attica can be a bit shy but once comfortable, she is loud and proud and a ball of energy. Attica loves people and loves every dog she meets as well as kitties. She's done very well being part of the big play group from a very young age. She's even done fabulously with the sanctuary flock. While Attica is still a young pup and on the go a lot, she is also quite sensitive and needs plenty of nurturing. On her own, she's lost and reserved and unsure, but put her in a pack (any pack) and she fits right in. Attica needs a home with another dog or 3. A secure fenced-in the yard is preferred, but we are open-minded depending on individual applicants. We will review all who apply. Seeking an experienced pet owner and bonus points if you've raised puppies before.Training is an ongoing process that has to be worked on daily. New issues/opportunities show up daily that have to be addressed and/or rewarded. Continued training is required. Attica survived parvo and a horrible ringworm infestation that required months of treatment. She's has made a full recovery. Besides a few bald sports all is well. Attica is 1 of 12 puppies that came together. Sadly, 2 did not make it. Sponsorship very much welcomes and is appreciated.
