Harlow German Shepherd Dog Adult Female in Indianapolis, Indiana

My story
If you are looking for a fun-loving dog who is happy to be alive, Harlow is your gal!

This two year old Shepherd mix absolutely adores every person she meets!

She is a bit of a bull in a china shop with her affection, so she might not be the right dog for anyone who isn't steady on their feet - LOL.

But she has recently gone through Board and Train at Barkefellers and has learned a lot on how to control her excitement.Harlow came to us as a mama dog, so although she is uncomfortable with adult dogs, she absolutely loves puppies!

She is currently working on getting used to other dogs in her foster home and we believe there is hope that she could someday bond with another playful dog, but right now she needs to be an only dog.

She also loves cats, but her love is a little pushy, so the cat would need to be super tolerant of her or at least be able to stay away when she wants to play.

She is housebroken and crate trained as well and absolutely loves to play with stuffed toys!Harlow has been diagnosed with spay incontinence, which can be a relatively common issue for female dogs, especially those that have given birth and then were spayed.

She is fully housetrained, but when she falls in a deep sleep, she sometimes leaks :(

The incontinence is easily controlled with a medication that costs about $40 per month.

This poor girl has been with Helping Paws for over a year, so she definitely deserves to have the perfect forever home!

Her adoption fee is $250 and she will come fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped.

If you are interested in meeting her, please submit an adoption application through our website - /adoption-application
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Harlow, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
