My story
Hi!
My name is Zozo but my foster mom calls me Zoe or Baby Zo.
I answer to all these names.
I was an owner surrender but I have adjusted well to my new foster home.
I was labeled as feisty, but that is only because I need time to warm up to strangers.
Once I get to know you, I will want you to play with me.
It doesn’t take long for me to get used to you so be patient with me.
I get cold easily because I don’t have a very thick coat of fur so I like to curl up in blankets on the couch or in my little bed with blankets.
My foster mom always makes sure I have blankets or puts a sweater on me if I get chilly.
I like exploring the back yard and sitting with my foster mom on the front porch while she has her coffee. Actually, I like being wherever she is. I’m up to date on shots, got spayed and had 7 teeth removed and the rest cleaned by the vet so I’m ready to go to my new permanent home.
If I want something I will stand on my back legs and beg with my front paws together and move them up and down.
Everyone thinks I look so cute when I do that.
I got along with one of the other dogs in my foster home and wanted to play with her but she wasn’t having that.
My foster mom isn’t sure if I would get along with all dogs.
I do like to have lots of attention but it’s possible that I could love a playmate also. I’m a good eater and love treats (of course).
I am potty trained to go outside.
I’m not too fond of going out in the rain but I do it anyway.
I may be able to be potty pad trained if the weather is too cold for me.
I’m hoping that you could open your heart and home to me so that I can become part of your family. There is a foster to adopt program if you are unsure if I would be a good fit for you. ❤️
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Zozo/Zoe, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
